This section focuses on my journey as a student. When I first arrived at Michigan State University, I didn’t know much about professional writing other than the fact that I should be able to write a resume. Now I can craft all sorts of professional documents, but more importantly I have some foundational knowledge on the theory behind them.
The three pieces I chose for the section are:
- Michigan Secretary of State Style Guide Mockup
- Carmen and Jorge’s Journey Map
- Non-Academic Job Group Materials
Each of these pieces was written during a different point of my MA journey. Two of them were crafted for my classes while the other was for my RAship. It’s my hope that by placing these pieces together I’ll be able to show you a wide range of the things I learned.
